Talking Points Memo is reporting that a self-identified republican called in to C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" radio show to say that "republicans hate that n*gger Obama" - live and on air no less.
The video can be found here: http://talkingpointsmemo.com/...
A caller who identified himself as Anthony from San Diego, Calif., had this to say on air this morning: "I would just like to say, that the Republicans -- and I'm a Republican -- please do not overreach. I know they're going to overreach but I'm telling you, if you advocate for the repeal of Obamacare and you get too extreme, then Hillary Clinton will be elected President in 2016."
"This is about race," he added. "The Republicans hate that n*gger Obama."
The talk-show host Steve Scully stopped the call immediately, and then apologized to listeners.
So it is not fair to say republicans always lie. It is not often that one gets the honest truth on a radio or TV talk show - nasty as that truth may be.
So far, no GOP official has offered a confirmation or a denial.
