Received this e-mail today from Democracy for America:
Earlier this week, we learned that Oregon Senator Ron Wyden may join Republican Senator Orrin Hatch to introduce Fast Track authority for the Trans-Pacific Partnership -- even though passing it would undermine the power of Congress to shape the contents of this massive trade agreement.
Sen. Wyden is clearly way out of step with his constituents on this issue: An incredible 73% of Sen. Wyden's constituents oppose giving the President Fast Track authority, according to a new poll Democracy for America commissioned from Public Policy Polling released just yesterday.
And not only do Oregon voters oppose Fast Track, many of them say that this is a make or break issue for them. Half (50%) of the voters we surveyed said that they would be less likely to vote for Sen. Wyden again if he helps Republicans shove Fast Track through Congress.
We need to make sure that Sen. Wyden knows right now that he will pay political consequences if he continues to side with Republicans on Fast Track. Will you call Sen. Wyden today and tell him to side with his constituents and oppose Fast Track authority on the TPP?

There's a reason why people are calling the TPP "NAFTA on steroids." It's full of the same kinds of policies that made NAFTA a disaster: It empowers corporations over governments, encourages outsourcing and lower wages and decimates environmental protections.
Real progressive candidates like Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren are taking a strong stand to protect working families by opposing Fast Track. Sen. Wyden's constituents expect the same from him -- but right now they're not getting it.
Call Sen. Wyden's office today and tell him to stand with Elizabeth Warren and oppose Fast Track!

Thanks for taking action at this crucial moment for American workers.
